Do I need my passport?

Yes! Please ensure to have a valid passport. We recommend having your passport at least 3-6 months prior to expiration at the time of the event.

Do I need health insurance to travel to Mexico?

No rules state you need travel insurance to attend a destination wedding in Mexico, and no one will check for insurance. However, having a policy in place is a good idea. It’s especially important to check you have health coverage.

How do I get to San Jose del Cabo, Mexico?

The best way to get to San Jose del Cabo is to fly into Los Cabos Airport (SJD). The airport is in San Jose and only 15-20 minutes from the Hyatt Ziva.

How do I get to the hotel from the airport?

We have discounted rates for Transcabo transportation services. You can use the link provided within the “Travel” page to make your reservation. Ubers and taxis are available once you are in town and want to travel around San Jose.

Where should I stay?

We have reserved room blocks at the Hyatt Place and Hyatt Ziva hotels. Link to room blocks and more details are available under the “Travel” page. Please ensure to use the links for the discounted rates. The rates will not be valid if booked through a different website.

How do I get to the wedding venue?

We will be providing shuttles for transportation from the Hyatt Ziva and Hyatt Place to and from Jardin Tropical. Departure time is 4:30 pm from both hotels. First shuttle to leave Jardin Tropical starts at 11:00 pm. It is a 10-15. minute commute between places. In case you do not use the shuttles, the address to the venue is LOTE 50 B VADO SANTA ROSA, 23400 San Jose del Cbo, B.C.S., Mexico

What is the attire for the Wedding Ceremony & Reception?

The attire is formal (dress to impress!). For women, please wear floor length dresses (maxi). Additionally, the venue has a lot of grass so we recommend wearing block heels for comfort. For men please wear a suit. We’ve added photos of dress attire and an optional color palette below for wedding guests.

Can I bring my children?

The Bride and Groom kindly request all Wedding events to be adults-only. You may bring your children on the trip, however, we have chosen to make the Welcome Party and our special day adults only to allow all of our guests to relax, drink (a lot) and have fun. We thank you for your understanding.

Are there any COVID-19 restrictions in Mexico?

You don’t have to worry about taking a COVID test if you’re attending a wedding in Mexico and no vaccinations are needed.

Will there be food at the wedding?

Yes, we will provide hors d'oeuvres. during cocktail hour after the ceremony, a 3-course meal for dinner, and tacos al pastor and veggie chilaquiles for late night eats.

Will there be drinks?

Claro que si! Open bar at the welcome party and wedding reception.
