Our Wedding

Ana and Adam’s love story began in the fall of 2021, when they met at a mutual friend’s wedding. As the Maid of Honor and Best Man, their lives crossed in the most serendipitous way. Though Ana soon returned to the UK to finish school and travel, something about that day—and each other—stuck with them. In January 2022, Ana moved to Bloomington, IL, and the spark that started at that wedding began to grow into something deep and lasting. Adam spent countless weekends driving down to see her, exploring McLean County’s lakes, hidden trails, and cozy restaurants—always happiest just to be by her side. Ana, too, visited Adam in Onarga, quickly falling in love not just with him, but with the quiet charm and warmth of his hometown. Before long, she made the move there herself, and the two began building a life together. They’ve already shared so many adventures—road-tripping to Missouri and Alabama, planning bucket-list travels to Cairo, the Serengeti, Patagonia, and Alaska. One of their favorite memories is a canoe trip down the White River in Missouri. What began as a peaceful paddle turned into a comedy of errors as they flipped their canoe—losing paddles, fishing poles, and licenses along the way. And yet, somehow, Adam’s trusty camo Echo hat stayed perfectly dry. It’s one of those stories they’ll tell forever, laughing at the chaos and grateful they were in it together. Now, surrounded by the love of family and friends, Ana and Adam are ready to begin their next chapter. They can’t wait to celebrate this day with the people who have supported them through every mile, every moment, and every memory. Thank you for being part of their story.
