Hunter and Ana met on the dating app Hinge and went on their first date at a local bar in the Heights of Houston on September 12, 2023. What started as a simple first drink quickly turned into hours of talking, laughing, and realizing there was something special there. After that night, they never stopped spending time together. They took their time getting to know one another and officially began dating on February 3, 2024.

On December 14, 2025, Hunter planned what Ana thought was a normal dinner date. Earlier that day, he also scheduled a tour of a potential wedding venue they had discussed. While walking through the venue’s gardens, the tour ended beneath beautiful green arched vines. As Ana turned the corner and saw a photographer waiting, everything suddenly made sense. Hunter got down on one knee and proposed.

After celebrating with photos, they enjoyed dinner at their favorite Italian spot, Trattoria Sofia, and then headed to Heights Bier Garden, where family and friends were waiting to surprise them and celebrate their engagement.

They can’t wait to continue building a life together and feel so grateful to celebrate this next chapter surrounded by the people they love most!
