Our Wedding

Juan and I met in Argentina in 2019 when my fathers friend Alejandro Olmos invited us to play polo at his field. We had not met each other yet, but once we did our story began! From the very start we became friends. The next polo season in California I was there, playing polo and Juan also made plans to come to California, to play. We began to date and fell in love. Though Covid was bad for some - for us, it was the perfect time to grow our relationship and within a few months we knew ours was a love that will last forever! Juan proposed to me and of course I said YES! Under normal circumstances we would have had a beautiful ceremony after Covid, but my father was very ill and we decided to marry privately at home in Texas, so he could be apart of our marriage. We had hoped to then have a wedding ceremony, in the church the following November, but Covid prevented that and then my father passed away and we have not been able to have our Catholic service until now. We have had a wonderful four years and look forward to a lifetime together.

La Casa Rosada is the executive mansion and office of the President of Argentina. The palatial mansion is known officially as Casa de Gobierno, ("House of Government" or "Government House"). Normally, the President lives at the Quinta de Olivos, the official residence of the President of Argentina, which is located in Olivos, Buenos Aires Province. The characteristic color of the Casa Rosada is baby pink, and is considered one of the most emblematic buildings in Buenos Aires.

The Buenos Aires Metropolitan Cathedral is the main Catholic church in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The Campo Argentino del Polo, popularly known as The Cathedral of Polo (the best Polo in the world), is a multi-purpose stadium in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The stadium opened in 1928, holds up to 30,000 people and is located in the Palermo neighborhood, on Del Libertador Avenue, close to Hipódromo Argentino.

The tour begins with a drive along 9th of July Avenue, with its eight lanes, the widest avenue in the world. In the middle of the avenue is the Obelisk. On Sundays there is an antique fair in Plaza Dorrego. The area also has lively nightlife as there are many restaurants, bars and tango houses. The tour passes the developing new district of Puerto Madero (the port area), and continues through Palermo where the Zoo, Botanical Garden, Palermo Woods, the National Polo Field, and the Planetarium are located. Palermo is also a fashionable residential area. On the way back, we will visit another residential area, the sophisticated district of Recoleta, with its restaurants, coffee shops, nightclubs and boutiques and where it is the remarkable and well-known cemetery, as well as the church of Nuestra Seora del Pilar, the Cultural Center and the circular building of the Palais de Glace.
