Dustin's POV:

Our story began when I met Analisa officially for the first time at one of her soccer games, our senior year of high school. I always thought she was the cutest on the team, but never introduced myself until that night. She had no interest in who I was at all, but little did she know I was already in love. I tried to talk to her more when I saw her around the school, and I would like to think she considered me one of her friends. That Valentine’s Day I brought some flowers to her house thinking I’d give them to her, but she wasn’t home so I gave them to her dad and introduced myself…. We became closer and closer, and then I asked her to prom. When she said yes, I knew she actually liked me. We hung out all the time after that and became closer than ever.

We then were off to our next chapter: college. I went out of state to pursue my dream of playing college football, and she stayed in state. We visited each other as much as we could and had the times of our lives.

After college, God brought us both home to Orlando, and we continued our journey together. As our life continued after college we created many unforgettable memories together, added puppies to our families and created a bond like none other. Through the ups and downs, highs and lows, there has never been a doubt in my mind that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with Analisa.

When I asked her to be my wife it was the one of the happiest days of my life and I was thinking about the day we first met and the fact that I was finally getting the courage to ask her to marry me almost like I had to get the courage to actually introduce myself to her that first day. I’m looking forward to all the great memories we will make, new and old relationships we will have, and blessed to add her into my family and be a new part of hers.

Analisa's POV:

Dustin and I technically met our junior year of high school at one of our track practices, but the story doesn't get juicy until he reintroduces himself after one of my soccer games. I had always seen (& heard lol) Dustin around school but never knew much about him. When he reintroduced himself to me after my game, I for sure thought he was cute but, I didn’t think much about it. Little did I know, I just met my stalker (& future husband) haha! For months, Dustin would walk me to classes, wait for me at my locker, sit with me at lunch, call me out of classes and even showed up at my house unannounced with flowers for Valentine's Day. After shooting him down enough times and him always trying again, I decided I would give him a fair shot. When he asked me to prom, I was super excited to say yes! After that we became besties, he asked me to be his girlfriend (I said yes of course) and we had the most fun together.

We went our separate ways through college, but everyone knows we stayed in touch and visited each other. Covid brought us both home at the end of our senior year, and we picked up right where we left off!

After 4 years of dating, traveling, getting puppies, and having so much fun together, Dustin *finally* proposed, and it was the easiest yes ever! I know I make jokes that I wasn’t interested in Dustin in high school, but deep down I always knew he’d be the one I’d marry. It has been the biggest blessing watching God work in both of our lives and have his hand over our relationship since we were 17, and I can’t wait to go into this next chapter together 😊
