Even while living our entire lives, 2 minutes away of walking distance, we had never met or encountered each other at any point. Little did we know we would find a connection like no other!


December 13th, 2022, we both were invited separately by different friends to a bowling outing. Going out was not something we enjoyed, and less during an evening, but we agreed to join.


The moment our eyes met, there was an instant reaction from both sides. Unfortunately as introverts, it’s hard to make a conversation in a loud environment such as a bowling alley. Of course, that didn’t mean there wasn’t any intention approaching.


Thankfully, after bowling and ridiculously losing, our friend group decided to go to Portillo’s, and that’s where Xavier took his chance! While setting up the tables together so we could all sit together, Xavier sat in front of me and we hit it off immediately! There wasn’t a moment of silence and we took advantage of every minute we had.


Before leaving, we exchanged phone numbers and quickly started to get to know each other and hanging out with more friends.


We both realized how much we truly wanted Jehovah to be a part of this growing relationship and on June 2nd, 2023, Xavier proposed. It was truly beautiful and a sight to experience.


There wasnt a moment where we couldnt count on each other, even when life threw its troubles. Now almost two years later, we are excited to start this new chapter of our lives and include Jehovah in it. We are grateful to all of you who have supported us from the beginning.
