Our Wedding

Despite going to the same high school and college, sharing friends, taking classes together, and going to the same concerts, An and Dhruv were completely oblivious to each other for all 5 years they overlapped at NCSSM and UNC. It wasn't until she was in New York and he in Ohio that they finally met over a disastrous game of Online Dungeons and Dragons. A whirlwind weekend in DC later, the two decided to take the plunge into long distance dating. After three years of flights, train rides, new jobs and big moves, An and Dhruv finally found a way to exist in the same state, landing in Silver Spring Maryland, just a few miles north of where they first (re-)connected. They've continued traveling, going on hikes in Shenandoah and beaching all along the Outer Banks. The two spend their time at home testing new recipes, playing video games, and raising one extremely cute cat. We can't wait to celebrate with you at our reception in October! See you all soon.

The Walters is a world-class art museum in the Mount Vernon neighborhood. Don't miss the famous statue of George Washington as a Roman emperor right outside!

Fells Point 

Federal Hill is a great neighborhood to walk, full of restaurants and bars. Cross street market is a great spot to grab a bite!

Take a tour of the world's largest gravity-driven clock, built by one of history's weirdest chemist-moguls (who was also a UNC alum).

Bromo Seltzer Arts Tower

The Guinness Open Gate Brewery is where 100% of Guinness's Baltimore Blonde Ale is brewed. The Brewery is a bit of a trek outside the city proper (definitely a drive), but it's got a nice Irish restaurant/pub and lot of experimental Guinness beers that you can't find anywhere else!

And of course, there are a million and ten things to do in DC if you're willing to make the trek down. It's about an hour by car or train, and you can make use of Maryland's excellent MARC trains to go from Camden Yards to Union Station.
