Where should we stay if we don't want to stay in the venue (Druids Glen)?
We have listed a number of alternative accommodation options in Wicklow under the "travel" tab. They are all between 8 - 25 min taxi/drive away from Druids Glen. You might also choose to stay in Dublin and just come down the day of the wedding - it is about a 40 min taxi/drive.
Are there any events the day before the wedding?
Yes! We will be hosting very casual welcome drinks and finger food in Druids Glen hotel the day before. So whether you have traveled to Ireland from abroad, or just want to come down and stay the night before, please feel free to pop in and say hi.
Are there any events the day following the wedding?
Yes! We want you to sleep in, enjoy breakfast, and relax the morning after the wedding. We will be heading back up to Dublin after we check out, and heading into Dublin City for a late afternoon pint and get together at The Bath Pub. This is very casual, you can just come by to say a quick hello, or stick around and keep the party going!
