Walt Disney World is the most magical place on earth for many, but especially Anastasia. She spent a lot of time there with her late Mom and is a Disnerd through and through. One of the first trips they planned together (after the cruise, of course) was one to Disney World. Adam had never done it, "the right way," as Anastasia called it (which, in reality is just the stupid f*cking expensive way).

Anastasia's way is staying on property at a resort and going to all the parks. Initially, they planned to go in September of 2020 and landed on October of 2020. In case anyone forgot what happened in 2020, that obviously didn't happen. They actually got back from their cruise about a week before the world shut down. Thankfully they weren't stuck out at sea.

From there, the Disney trip was rescheduled what felt like a hundred times. Whether due to COVID restrictions, or COVID changes to the parks, or other trips, or life - it felt like they were never going to go. They did get to go to Magic Kingdom with the kids and Adam's family (which was AMAZING) but they still wanted to take *their* trip.

They finally got to in October of 2022. They stayed at the Pop Century resort and went to Hollywood Studios, Magic Kingdom, Epcot, and Animal Kingdom (in that order). In typical Anastasia fashion, she purchased the photo pass package as part of their trip.

Sunday was Magic Kingdom day. If you've never been, they do a morning show, right at opening every day where the characters 'sing' and dance in front of the castle. Anastasia had always gone as a kid and was HELL BENT they would make it on time to see the morning show, and they did. At the end of the morning show, Anastasia scoped out a photo pass photographer RIGHT in front of the castle with almost no line. They hurried over to get some pictures in front of the castle. The photographer took a handful of pictures and told them to have a great day. Before they could leave, though, Adam looked at the photographer and said, "Actually, can we do one more?" which is not Adam at all. Anastasia gasped so loud Adam thought she had stopped breathing (she kind of had) because he had his hand in his pocket and she knew. Adam said, "Are you going to make it?" and she shook her head no and started to cry.

And he asked her to marry him. And she hyperventilated. And she sobbed. And she said yes. And she hyperventilated some more. And he told her she needed to breathe. And GOD LOVE that photographer, she got it ALL and then some.
