Our love story began 7 years ago.

We are both Acadia University graduates and knew of each other during our time there, however it was 2017 before sparks flew when a mutual friend re-connected us!

Our first date may or may not be remembered by Mark as there may have been many beers (instigated by Anastasia!), a unicorn costume and a few birthday celebrations involved!

After the interesting first date and a few more normal ones, Mark was thrown full force into the large and loud Karst family, meeting Anastasia's parents at a "small" 40 person gathering at their home for Easter. He may have been a little shell shocked after this dinner and might have reflected on what exactly he was getting himself into!!!

7 years later Mark has been to many more Karst family parties and Anastasia has been on many wonderful dates!

They have accomplished a lot personally and as partners in this time too; from moving to Moncton together, both changing jobs, finishing school, traveling together and buying and renovating their 1st house! And now embarking on this new journey together as husband and wife.
