What is a New Orleans Cocktail Reception?

Instead of a formal sit-down dinner, we'll be having a New Orleans style cocktail reception with passed hors d'oeuvres, food stations featuring local favorites, an open bar with classic NOLA cocktails, and lots of music and dancing. Come ready to mingle, eat, and celebrate in true New Orleans fashion!

What is a Second Line Parade?

A second line parade is a beloved New Orleans wedding tradition! We will celebrate being newlyweds by parading around the wedding venue with a brass band while waving handkerchiefs and twirling umbrellas. This is how we will transition from the ceremony to the reception!

What time should I arrive?

Please arrive at least 30 minutes before the ceremony start time, which is at 7pm.

What do I wear?

Our dress code is cocktail/semi-formal, think nice dresses and suits. Its spring so have some fun with color if that's your style! The bridesmaids will be wearing light blue if you don't want to match them.

When is my RSVP due?

RVSPs are due a month prior to the wedding, March 11, 2026, so that we can provide our final numbers to our vendors. After this date if we do not receive your RSVP, you will be marked automatically as "Not Attending".

Can I bring a guest?

In order to keep our wedding as intimate as possible, only guests formally invited on your wedding invitation will be accommodated. If you received a plus one they will appear when you RSVP.

Are kids allowed?

While we love your little ones, this is strictly an adults only occasion with the exception of our flower girl and ringer bearers.
