Andi and Dylan met after they both recently moved to Charlotte, NC. Andi was a rising sophomore at ECU, and her parents moved to the Charlotte area over the summer. Dylan just moved to NC to be closer to his parents. Both were eager to make new friends and explore their new home!

One night, they ran into each other at a concert and Dylan, being so captivated by Andi's beauty, decided to take her out on a date. He picked her up and took her to a hookah bar where there happened to be Slam Poetry. Labeled as "the best date of her life," Andi couldn't get Dylan out of her head.

Andi, unfortunately, had to move back to Greenville to attend school and the couple drifted apart for a few years. They would run into each other almost every time Andi visited Charlotte and acted like there was no separation between them.

Three years later when Andi graduated college, the pair reconnected and started off where they left off. They went on plenty of dates, and on New Year's Day officially started dating. But Dylan already started the process to move to Colorado. Andi, not wanting to hold Dylan back, encouraged him to move and in February 2018 he packed his bags and left.

The two didn't stop talking though, they communicated daily and called each other almost every night. Andi decided to visit Dylan in Colorado in April, and the two realized that they were in love. After the trip, Dylan moved back to Charlotte to be with his girl.

After seven incredible years, two kitties, and a first home purchase later, Dylan decided it was time to propose to his girl. He took her away to Tallassee, Tennessee for a birthday weekend away in the Smokey Mountains. He told Andi to grab the tripod so he could take a picture, recreating the (iconic) photo when Andi visited Dylan in Colorado. Instead of a pic, Dylan pressed record and proposed to the love of his life.
