July 2021 - We got engaged!

April 2022 - We became pregnant!

January 2023 - Noah was born!!!!

February 2024 - We're getting married :)

Long story...

We met on the dating app coffee meets bagel. The app gave us 48 hours to like each other, make a connection and share contact information.

Febe was hesitant since she was getting tired of not finding good candidates online. One night she was out with her girlfriends and the swiping started, they told her to take a chance on love and even replied to Andre on her behalf (thanks Cindy and Nancy).

Andre quickly set up the first date for the same week. We met at Croxleys in Farmingdale, it was a middle point from Elmont and Bay Shore. We told our closest friends and shared our locations in case things went south. The date lasted 7 hours, they closed down the bar and we still talked for a couple of hours outside in the parking lot. Two weeks later we made it official on October 31, 2017. We both knew from the first date we had found our match for life.

We both love to travel, eat and drink. On one travel adventure we went to Jamaica in July 2021 to celebrate one of the bridesmaid Nancy's birthday. Andre had a whole plan to propose, fireworks, dinner on the beach and a show. It down poured all day long and all outdoor activities were canceled. Andre was stressed and Febe was having the best day ever (rainy days are her favorite). Andre managed to get reservations to a steakhouse and we all headed to dinner. Andre popped the question and without a doubt Febe said yes.

We knew we wanted a family from day one and made it our priority. Conceiving was not as easy for us so off to a fertility specialist we went. On the week we met with the specialist we found out we were pregnant. It was destined to be since Andre sister Kennedy became pregnant at the same exact time and our due dates were one day apart. It was a blessing in disguise that made us share this experience together and get closer as a family. We welcomed our baby boy Noah Francisco O’Hara on January 5, 2023. We are beyond in love with him and have been enjoying being parents to this precious human.

Now we want to have a big party and celebrate our love for each other. We have made it through life’s ups and downs and we could not pick someone better to have each others back. Let’s make this love, wedding official!!!
