Our story begins at UNL where we met through my freshman year roommate, Anna. Kyler and a friend had come to deliver a welcome plant to Anna in our dorm room in Abel. And it was love at first sight! (or something like that). 😉 We continued to get to know each other more from that day on.

Kyler first asked me to officially be his girlfriend in October, but I said no because I needed to get to know him more. 😉 Turns out one month was all I needed because we became official in November of 2018! ❤️

Throughout our college years we attended many many formals, went to lots of Husker games, hungout and got to know each other's family and friends a lot more, and made many fun memories.

When March of 2020 came around we were banished from each others homes which resulted in LOTS of walks, which is where Walnut Creek became a special place to us!

In 2021 we celebrated our pinning with each other's fraternity and sorority and all of our friends. Following our pinning Kyler graduated and moved back to Omaha to become an actuary, and our MDR (medium distance relationship) began! 🤪

We continued to do all of the things we love together: hang out with our friends and family, go to concerts (country of course), play games, go on lots of walks, and travel!

As many know, Kyler is a big runner, and although I do not like to run, I love to be Kyler's biggest cheerleader. Whether he is running a marathon or running from Lincoln to Omaha, I am there to cheer him on! (And to make cute t-shirts for the finish line).

In 2022 I graduated from UNL and moved back to Omaha. We were so excited to be in the same city again! This year brought lots of new memories: a surprise birthday concert for Kyler, a trip to Minnesota with Andrea's family, many weddings, Kyler's third marathon, a new love for pickleball and our fourth year together. 🩷

Kyler proposed on September 4th at Walnut Creek while we were on a picnic. We celebrated after with surprise photos, champagne, and family! 💍

We celebrated our engagement with a fun trip to California where we became wine connoisseurs. 😉🍷

We are so excited for the next chapter of our lives together. May there be many more concerts, pickleball matches, travels, Dairy Queen blizzards, and unforgettable memories! Here's to forever! 🥂
