Our Wedding

The first time I made Sandra laugh very hard was when I called narwhals "penguins", then subsequently outed myself as believing all my life that narwhals were mythical. The first time I made Sandra laughed so hard that the whole city could hear us, was when I thought reindeers.... were also mythical. In a way, our search for each other was no different. We both found each other not knowing that it was possible. Since then, we have had lots of moments of laughters, joy, compassion, and love. We are blessed to have all of you join us in our discovery of the many more chapters to come!

Santa Cruz, CA is famous for its laid back vibes, proximity to beaches, nature walks or hikes, and generally a big tourist attraction. There are a number of things we like doing here. Join us for a hike the day after the wedding, if not, you can also check out some of our favorite spots!

We invite you to join us for a beautiful hike on the day after the wedding (Sunday, Oct. 19th, 2025 at 11am) on a local trail. It is an easy walk, about 4 miles out-and-back walk, with only 75ft elevation gain, and will take about 1.5 hours. Please let us know if you will be joining us when you RSVP!
