We're pretty sure that this is all Jackie's fault.

Kidding! Sort of. We do have to give her some serious credit, however, for orchestrating what ended up being a pivotal moment in time.

Andrea and Jackie were good friends, and once every so often Jackie would casually mention how awesome her brother is.

Andrea was introduced to Kyle at a family cookout, where Kyle was head grillmaster.

A few more casual meetings happened naturally while spending time with Jackie's family.

One beautiful August day, Jackie and Kyle and Andrea were all supposed to go to the Big Bull Falls Blues Festival together, but Jackie fell ill. "You two just go," she said.

And thus, an opportunity to spend real time together conversing was born.

Andrea and Kyle realized they share a love of the blues, music in general, 80s and 90s movies, Seinfeld, video games, nostalgia, exercise, and delicious foods.

Andrea was impressed by Kyle's unbridled enthusiasm and positive energy.

Kyle was captivated by Andrea's eloquent welcoming personality, and was awestruck by the deep syncopated connection they discovered.

After just under two years of dating, Kyle proposed on top of Rib Mountain, their most frequented and favorite hiking spot. Andrea said yes!

Actually, what she really said was, "Is this real? Are you sure? .... Yes!"

And they enjoyed a delicious sushi meal, and started to plan a wedding....
