Typically, men's ties are optional, but still welcome. If you're shopping for menswear, start with a classic long-sleeve button-down and dressy pants; then, add a colorful blazer or patterned sport coat for festivity. But coat is not required. Appropriate footwear includes nice loafers and on-theme boat shoes. Nice leather sandals or similar open toed footwear for men. Women can wear a semi-formal dress, like a maxi or midi, as well as a jumpsuit. A beach cocktail dress code gives you the flexibility to choose a vibrant color or bold print. Finish your outfit with a low heel, wedge or dressy flats. Open toed shoes or strappy sandals may be appropriate for ladies who don't mind sand in their toes. The ceremony and reception will be outdoors on hard-pack sand, so stilettos or spike heels are not recommended.Please ladies, no white dresses.And gents, no white coats or jackets, only white pants and/or white shirts acceptable.No t-shirts, no shorts for men, no bathing suits for anyone, no plastic or rubber shoes please (looking at you crocs!!)

Casual attire for Friday night and Sunday is welcome. Whatever you feel comfortable in... except your birthday suit!

Our Story

We recommend flying into Fort Lauderdale (FLL) or Miami (MIA) airport and renting a car for the drive to Key Largo. Public transportation is available but unfortunately is not reliable or recommended for our guests. Anyone looking to possibly pool together with other guests for rental car split or rides down can reach out to us anytime and we will do our best to match people together if possible.

Please feel free to stay wherever you find best. On the mainland in Florida City or Homestead you will have more affordable choices but a longer drive to the venue.

The list of things to do in the keys is endless. While there are almost no beaches in the keys... the water is everywhere and you can take advantage however you please. John Pennekamp State Park is an amazing place for snorkeling, kayaking, bike rides, or just walking around. An absolute must if you have time Friday or Saturday morning. But book reservations in advance for snorkeling and get there early for exploring because they limit access to keep the park pristine!! There are countless opportunities throughout the upper keys for snorkel and diving trips, boat rentals, fishing charters, or even parasailing. Just hop on Google and start exploring your options. Please feel free to ask us for advice if you have anything special in mind. Make sure to ask us before the 21st!!! Just want to relax in paradise? Go sit beside the water at one of the fantastic Key's waterfront restaurants for live music, great seafood and great views. We love the Key Largo Fisheries Backyard Cafe for a true taste of the keys. They have the freshest seafood, cool vibes, and great drinks too. Don't forget to feed the tarpon and the sharks out back! Sunrise Cuban Market &amp; Cafe has Joe's favorite Cuban Sandwich!! Great for a quick and easy lunch on the go. And very strong Cuban coffee.
