Our Wedding

Il y a trois ans, nous nous sommes rencontrés au travail. Rapidement, nous avons développé une affinité en tant que collègues, qui a mené a passer davantage de temps a se côtoyer. Un soir, après plusieurs semaines à travailler côte-à-côte, je lui ai laissé mon numéro sur un petit bout de papier à son bureau, sans attente. Un mois plus tard, après ample conversations quotidiennes, nous avons eu notre premier rendez-vous dans un parc, sans savoir que plusieurs mois plus tard, ce parc deviendrait notre cour arrière.&nbsp;Le soir de la grande demande, j’attendais Andrea avec impatience. J’ai fait un chemin de pétales de roses avec chandelles, qui menait jusqu’à notre cour arrière. A l’arrière, nerveux comme jamais et avec la bague dans mes poches, jouait la chanson que nous préférions pour notre première danse. Sa famille et ses amies cachées, au son de notre chanson préférée, elle est venue me rejoindre au centre de notre cour. Un genou au sol, je lui ai demandé sa main. Sans hésitation, elle a dit OUI! Et nous voici a quelques semaines de notre grand jour! Three years ago we met at work. We quickly developed an affinity as colleagues, which led to spending more time around each other. One evening, after several weeks of working side by side, I left Andrea my number on a small piece of paper at her desk, without any expectations. A month later, after many daily conversations, we had our first date in a park, without knowing that several months later, this park would become our backyard. The evening of the big request, I was impatiently waiting for Andrea. I made a path of rose petals with candles, which led to our backyard. In the back, nervous as ever and with the ring in my pocket, the song we chose for our first dance was playing. Her family and friends hidden, to the sound of our favorite song, she came to join me. One knee on the ground, I asked for her hand. Without hesitation, she said YES! And here we are, a few weeks away from our big day!
