If you know Daniel or Andrea, then you know that they don't typically go to bars. But on May 3rd, 2014, they did. Thankfully it was the same bar, and it was there that they met one another.

In midtown Atlanta, there is a high-end establishment called "Flip Flops", well known for its frozen adult beverages. Andrea was there celebrating the birthday of a friend. Daniel was there celebrating the Kentucky Derby with 3 couples, who took it upon themselves to scrounge up a companion for him.

When the strangers approached her table, Andrea was skeptical. It is not usually wise to go off with strange people you meet in a bar to meet their "friend". But she did.

When the strange girl approached his table, Daniel was shocked that his friends had actually talked some poor girl into joining them. Upon her arrival he was heard to utter the words "Oh no..." Daniel doesn't usually strike up conversations with strange girls his friends find in a bar. But he did.

And that is how they met.
