Q & A

Can I bring a plus one?

We are only able to accommodate guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you receive a plus one, there will be a place to share who your plus one will be when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding.

Do I have to RSVP?

Yes! Whether your answer is yes or no, please do share your attendance plans with us by April 5th. Any responses not received by that date (or in response to our reminder), will not be counted and you will not have a seat at the wedding. We want to celebrate with you so please don’t hesitate in responding!

Will there be transportation from the hotel to the venue?

Union Mills Public House offers plenty of free parking for our guests. Additionally, Uber and Lyft are options should you wish to use them. We ask our family and friends to use discretion in planning transportation with party plans since we are serving alcohol.

What should I wear?

We can't wait to celebrate with you and are looking forward to seeing you dressed in your best! A helpful hint: the more color, the better! Hint: semi-formal attire is preferred, but please dress so you are comfortable, confident, and ready to party!

Can I bring my kids?

We obviously love your kids, but after conversations with our closest friends, we have decided to limit our guests to adults only. We encourage everyone to think about this as a kids-free date night!

I've never been to Frederick, what can I do while in the area?

There is so much to do in and near Frederick that you could spend the whole weekend there are still not see everything. Check out our Things to Do page for some of our favorites!

What happens if it rains?

We are hoping for sunny skies and a clear night, but even if it does rain, we are planning for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception to take place inside. Union Mills Public House does offer patio space along Carroll Creek in case you need some fresh air.
