What's up with the lighthouse?
Simply put, Andrea LOVES lighthouses and the guidance, hope and strength that they symbolize. We felt this was a unique and unforgettable way to celebrate with our guests between the ceremony and reception. If lighthouse staff allows, we will be able to take a short tour inside. If not, we'll get beautiful pictures outside on the lighthouse grounds.
Is the reception at the same location as the ceremony?
Yes! The reception will be a casual beach bonfire with dinner, s'mores and wedding cake in the same vicinity as the ceremony.
What's the parking situation?
For the ceremony and reception there are two parking options. Our host hotel, Agate Beach Inn, is very close and available for those staying at the hotel. Also, across the street from the hotel is the official Agate Beach parking lot.
Where is the nearest store in case I forget something?
Just south of Agate Beach Inn is a Walmart Supercenter.
Can we celebrate with fireworks at the wedding or reception?
No, unfortunately fireworks are not allowed on Agate Beach.
Will drinks be served at the reception?
Our reception will be a 'Bring Your Own Beverage' event. You can hit up the Agate Beach Inn bar or Walmart to grab something to quench your thirst.
