We owe our story to good ol’ WSU. For years we were both involved with the track team as both athletes and coaches, but our paths never truly crossed until 2015 when we began coaching side by side. We spent countless hours at practice and traveling to and from meets with our multis kids, and we started to open up to each other. Overtime, we realized that we shared a lot of the same core values and aspirations as one another. We wish we could share with you all this crazy love story, but we just fell for each other so naturally and through common interests. Fast forward to our first shared graduating class’s commencement ceremonies when I think we both realized that there were deeper feelings… We started to spend more and more time with each other. It all just happened naturally.
Then came countless vacations, beach trips, and concerts…
…And just when it felt like nothing good would come of the pandemic, Matthew went above and beyond and turned our home into the most magical and unforgettable backdrop for the most memorable moment we have shared thus far. With our little Winnie by our sides, he dropped to one knee and asked me for forever…
