Often described as one of the most beautiful lakes in the world, it offers a vibrant mix of indigenous culture and breathtaking natural scenery. It is a farther trip but if you decide to go, you will not regret it!

- The local currency is the Quetzal but most businesses take credit card and some places also accept the U.S. dollar. Make sure to check the conversion at the time of the trip, but currently 1 US dollar is equivalent to almost 8 Quetzales.
