Andrea and Wilburt met at what was originally supposed to be a girls night. Andrea and Nicki planned a night out at their regular bar right next to the restaurant where they all had worked. Burt was closing out his shift and asked if anyone wanted to grab a drink. Nicki invited Burt to join and we all thought the more the merrier!

We got along really well and seemed to click right away. Andrea thought she had never met someone so genuine and kind who gave the best hugs. Wilburt thought she was beautiful, funny, and welcoming and wanted to get to know her more.

After a night of fun with friends, listening to live bands, everyone said goodbye. Being at different points in our lives, we would not see each other for another year. We ran into each other again when Wilburt returned to the restaurant that he had initially worked at. Andrea would then find every excuse to visit just to see and chat with him. Deep down we both knew that we couldn't let another year pass without getting to know each other. One night Andrea visited the restaurant and Wilburt asked her to pop over to the bar where they had met the year before and were just drawn to each other ever since.

About a month into dating, Wilburt moved to Pennsylvania and we were long distance for a year. Only being 3 hours apart, we went on many adventures together. The both of us would drive as often as we could to see each other. The best trips were going into Philadelphia and visiting Grammy's house!

It was clear to us that we are each other's person and rock. Wilburt moved back to Virginia and we began our lives together from moving in, to adopting a fur baby, and getting engaged!
