From this location Faneuil Hall is walking distance which has great shopping and historic landmarks. If you prefer Mexican then Lolita Fort Point in Seaport is the spot to go. Situated right on the water and gives you authentic Mexican with a modern twist. Take the Freedom Trail Tour and learn about early Boston and U.S. history on this 2.5-mile-long trail that passes through 16 historic locations. If you would rather shop then Newbury St is the spot for you.
A great place to visit during your time in New England is Newport near Thames St. There is great local shops and restaurants if you love seafood! We recommend the The Mooring Seafood Kitchen & Bar, The Red Parrot Restaurant and 22 Bowen's Wine Bar & Grille. if time permits, a tour of the historical Newport Mansions or the Cliff Walk is a must!
Take the ferry over from Seastreak Ferry Terminal in New Bedford, MA OR while in the Cape you can also take the ferry from Wood's Hole. The ferry takes you right in Oak Bluffs. We recommend a beach day at South Beach and make sure to stop by the Jaw's Bridge (where the movie was filmed) and jump!
