She sent a photograph of him to me (Andrea Reynolds) to which I exclaimed about how incredibly attractive he was. Come spring/early summer, Elias was considering leaving his job at SGC and Kristen decided that an introduction needed to be made, she began telling him about her friend Andie who thought he was cute. He was interested and we began emailing (he didn't text, I don't Facebook) back and forth, sometimes writing several page long emails. We spent several months getting to know one another, eventually video chatting. Finally in the fall I decided to take a road trip up to Washington to visit my friends, family, and Elias. Upon hearing about my plan to drive 14-16 hours alone, Elias objected and decided to fly down to Porterville and accompany me on my road trip. We met in person and he was immediately introduced to a huge portion of my family, and was brave enough to stay with us. We drove up to Washington together where I met most of his family and we haven't looked back!

The Engagement: Elias decided to propose after a co-worker of his asked him about when he would do so. He popped the question while hanging out together one night. Nothing terribly over the top, which I preferred. When he proposed I was in the beginning stages of catching pink-eye and my eye had begun to swell up and water. The morning after he proposed was full of him toting me around to doctors, pharmacies and my workplace! I said "he must really love me if he decided to propose to this face!"

Since the Engagement: We have been busy planning the wedding and our future life together! We love taking trips together and over-all just hanging out and being in one another's company. We look forward to sharing our happiness with you and having a great time on April 22nd!

Our Story

Details

Kristen is Andie's 18 year old baby sister. They bickered over barbies as children, but became very close friends and bonded as adults. Kristen is a fabulous singer and is currently studying  at Chapman University. Their older sibling Jason theorizes that they are so similar that they must share the same brain.

Kristen Reynolds

Bekah and Andie have known each other since they were children and would go horseback riding together. When they got older (after falling out of contact for many years) Bekah worked for, and eventually married Jason Reynolds, Andie's older brother. Over the years since the marriage they have bonded and share a particularly deep love for Bekahs 3 kids, Jaina, Jacen, and Zane! 

Rebekah Reynolds

It's hard to peg down the exact moment Megan and Andie met or became friends. After years of being mutually brought to the same church as guests, they finally began chatting. By the end of 8th grade we were inseparable. They went through high school together, helped each other through life struggles &amp;  dealt with existential crises'. To this day they remain in daily contact despite living 1000+ miles apart.

Megan Bennett

Kim and Andie are cousins who have known one another since Andie was born. While for many years the minimal age gap was apparent, by the time Andie was in  high school they were communicating regularly, and asking one another for unbiased advice on various scientific, psychological and general life issues. By the end of 2008 they had become quite close and have remained close over the years, occasionally consulting one another on various issues and getting together whenever feasible.

Kim Bott

Cinthia and Andie met in drama class in high school and gradually became closer as time passed during college. Eventually Andie went to work for Cinthia's dad, Jim Bryant, at Big 5 Sporting Goods for several years. Over time the relationship between the two girls and even the families has become more and more solid. Cinthia, Andie, and Megan all are in regular daily contact talking about everything from ridiculous things that happened that day, to politics, to abstract concepts and relationships.

Cinthia Ibarra

Ross is a sociable, friendly person whom replaced Elias when Elias left Seattle Golf Club for the first time in 2008. If not for Elias quitting, Ross never would have gotten  hired there. They became friends upon Elias' return. He regularly facilitates planning get-togethers and game nights for the guys.  He works auditing banks now, but has continued being close friends with all of the groomsmen and Elias, frequently meeting up for lunches and inviting everyone out to trivia nights at local restaurants.

Kevin is a kind, loving person who met Elias while at the Seattle Golf Club when he returned to work there in 2009. They became good friends and now hang out whenever possible. They enjoy playing pool, poker and doing trivia together.

Elias met this high-spirited man while at Seattle Golf Club while they both were caddies. Elias recalls seeing him at the back of a bus and nodding at him. Gerard remembers them running to catch the subsequent connecting bus. Gerard and Elias enjoy playing pool, poker and doing trivia together. Gerard enjoys a good night-out on the town and partaking in a spirited debate.

Steve and Andie met when Andie vacated her mothers womb on July 28th of 1990. Andie and her father are quite close and enjoy hiking, eating out, and having long conversations and debates about life. They have experienced many ups and downs in life together and Steve looks forward to seeing Andie and Elias embark on this new chapter in life.

Steve Reynolds 

The mother of the bride, Cindy met Andrea when Andrea vacated her comfy womb in exchange for the sweet freedom of the outside world. Cindy and Andie enjoy hiking, drinking wine, watching Gilmore Girls, and talking about life. Cindy has been very supportive and helpful throughout Andie's life and was happy to help out with the planning of her wedding as well!

Jaina is a certified Disney princess and is the most gorgeous human being on planet earth. She likes Pokemon, pink , learning, and reading books. She loves spending time with her completely unbiased Auntie "Spider" Andrea.

Andrea's nephews, two very handsome balls of energy who love playing outside. Jacen loves riding his bike, helping to make food and listening to bedtime stories. Zane likes ice cream, playing outside and his favorite color is green. They also love spending time with their Auntie "Spider"
