Like all modern fairytales, ours started with a DM. Bobby had always known of Andrea through her cousin (they played baseball together) and couldn’t help but think she was beautiful. One day, he took a chance and sent that Instagram message. From that moment, he chased Andrea, showing her how much she meant to him long before she even realized it.

While Andrea may have made Bobby work for it at first, her friends knew right away—Bobby was perfect for her. He was patient, kind, and so attentive to all her needs that, over time, Andrea realized he was the one.

Our first date was a little unconventional. In the middle of the pandemic, we sat on the porch of Andrea’s apartment, shared pizza, sipped on wine, and talked for hours. In that simple moment, everything clicked. From then on, we were inseparable.

For Andrea, love had always been modeled by her parents—the way her dad treated her mom was how she dreamed of being loved. With Bobby, she found all of that and more.
