David and Andrea's story began in Orlando, Florida on February 18th, 2018.

David had just arrived in Orlando the night before with his friend Nick to visit his best friend Brad with plans to celebrate his birthday, visit the Disney parks and explore the area. While David had visited Florida many times before, this was the first time he was going to meet Andrea.

The night before Brad's birthday, Andrea and David met at a mutual friend's birthday party in Orlando and it was truly love at first sight. They spent the night talking, playing games, and laughing all night with new and old friends from around the Disney-sphere. The next day, they celebrated Brad's birthday together with Nick, kayaking outside of Tampa, visiting Cigar City Brewing, and dancing the night away at The Edison at Disney Springs.

Before David left Florida, he and Andrea knew that a special connection was happening between them. They kept in touch, and as time went on, they grew closer and closer (thanks to FaceTime, millions of texts, and $35 Spirit Airlines round-trip flights). Andrea was thrilled to visit the Midwest, exploring Chicago and Milwaukee with David, and seeing his hometown where he and his friends lived and grew up. David also loved visiting Orlando more, seeing new parts of the state and spending time among the many attractions the area has to offer.

Andrea was excited to date David for many reasons, but one of the best parts was that David had already been planning to move to Orlando. But as time went on and as the relationship became more serious (and as Andrea got sick of spending the 100+ degree summers in Florida), David and Andrea decided the Midwest was the perfect place to start their next chapter together.

In 2019, Andrea got a job in Wisconsin and moved in with David in Wauconda, Illinois. The following years have brought mountains of happiness and adventure, including trips to the East Coast to see Andrea’s family, America’s Roller Coast in Sandusky, Ohio (Cedar Point), Canada, Mexico, the US Southwest, Greece, and most recently to the Rocky Mountains where David proposed to Andrea (literally on top of a snow-topped mountain).

Andrea and David are very excited to celebrate their story with their dear family and friends who have been with them the entire way, honor those who cannot be with us, and look to the future where more adventure awaits!
