Anthony Bourdain list of 13 places to eat before you die!), Q39 (everything) on 39th St., Jack Stack Freighthouse (burnt ends, beans, cheesy corn, or go wild and get the Crown Prime Beef Rib). Burnt ends anywhere are a KC classic.

Sports Bars: KC is home to many a sports bar. Check out The Peanut for their famous wings or head to Power & Light for big bars with an outdoor courtyard, will be wild if the Chiefs make an appearance that Sunday in the AFC Championship. Andrea has a soft spot for Tower Tavern on 31st where she frequented when she first moved to KC almost ten years ago and has returned many times since.
Late Night Eats: Town Topic. There’s two close. Greasy diner and everything you’ll want.
Pizza: Check out Providence Pizza at the Parlor or in Westport for our favorite. Also love Buffalo State Pizza in Crossroads. Minsky’s is a long-standing local chain and favorite.
