We met over 10 years ago on Twitter. We both had mutual interests in minecraft and I had commented on someone's post. Jacob commented on my comment and then we started talking from there. On July 26, 2020 we decided to meet each other for the first time in person so he came up to Illinois and we met at a nearby park with friends. We all spent the day at this park and then went to the mall. From that day we knew we were more than friends.

For three years our dating life consisted of a long-distance relationship. He would come up to Illinois for a night or weekend to spend time with me. I would go down to Arkansas for a week or two during the holidays or the summer. Eventually the long-distance was too much for both of us and we decided we were ready to move in together. I moved to Arkansas in September 2023 and a few days after he asked me to marry him!
