We highly recommend booking your house or hotel as soon as possible. Weekend rentals can be tricky on the beach even in September. We recommend Pirate's Cove Realty if you want to stay close to the wedding venue. Otherwise, Airbnb and VRBO will be your best bet. Check out the "Travel" tab for more information on room blocks!
How's the traffic?
Hopefully it won't be *too* bad as we approach the off season. There is always a chance of heavy traffic on Saturdays, so be sure to leave yourself some wiggle room when headed to the ceremony.
Is there parking at your venues?
Yes! There is parking at both Jenette's Pier and Pirate's Cove. However, if you plan on having as much fun as we hope you do, we recommend a Lyft or Uber :)
Advice for out of state travelers?
The Outer Banks isn't the easiest place to travel to and we are so grateful you'll be there! The nearest airport is Norfolk, Virginia (ORF). Then it is about a 2 hour drive to the Manteo area.
What is the attire?
Friday events will be Coat, No Tie. Our wedding day is Cocktail Attire. We can't wait to see you!
