NYC--->Dallas-->NYC

Andi and Brett met in the Summer of 2020 while she was on a travel nurse assignment in NYC, and he was splitting time between NYC and Texas during the height of the pandemic! After a few FaceTimes, Brett made a trip to NYC and the couple had their first coffee date. Little did Andi know, Brett was planning on moving his stuff out of the City for good. It wasn't until spending Labor Day weekend together that year that the couple knew this could be something more.

After passing on a travel assignment in California, Andi decided to move to Dallas with Brett. As all couples did during the pandemic, Andi and Brett found it most economical to not only move cities, but to also move in together, which they did along with her (now their) dog Beau ha.

The couple spent a year and a half living in Dallas along with a short stint in San Diego, but the appeal of NYC called them back, along with both of them getting great jobs. So in June 2022, the couple decided to move back to NYC, and live what they thought would be the DINK lifestyle.

However, as life always has its own plans, Andi and Brett soon found out that they would be welcoming the greatest gift of all, a blessed baby boy Beckham.

It wasn't until Labor Day of 2022 (the holiday weekend that will always be special) that Brett decided to propose to Andi at Gurney's Resort in Montauk. The next month, Andi and Brett made it official by having a ceremony at the Manhattan courthouse. They wanted the ensuing year to be all about their new baby boy instead of planning their dream wedding, so the couple decided to hold off on the celebrating with family and friends until the Fall of 2024.

This celebration will also be special to the couple as their marriage will be blessed in the Catholic church, and the location of St. Patrick's Cathedral is also where Beckham was baptized.
