Andreea comes across Brandon’s dating profile and is immediately smitten by his smile. She sends him a message and (im)patiently waits to see if he will write back.

Brandon FINALLY responds to Andreea’s message. They exchange phone numbers and begin texting. They set up a time for a FaceTime call, and in the next few weeks, these 3 apps go from mostly unused to their 3 favorite apps.

Brandon sends Andreea flowers for the first time right before their very first (FaceTime) date. They enjoyed Greek food and excellent conversation. From that day forward, they have ended every day on FaceTime together.

After countless texts, phone calls, and FaceTime calls… Brandon drives from AZ to CA to meet Andreea in person for the first time. Their first official date is at the Lavender Festival in Cherry Valley, CA.

Brandon and Andreea survive California’s Hurricane Hilary together. They survive on chicken wings and pizza.

Andreea (an avid indoor plant collector and lover) helps Brandon pick out his very first houseplant.

Brandon and Andreea embark on their very first road trip together.

The first stop on this road trip is Bryce Canyon, UT.

Finally they arrive at their ultimate destination… Yellowstone National Park. Neither of them had visited Yellowstone before, and both were very excited to see the wildlife and beauty of this national park.

On their way back from Yellowstone, they stop in Arches National Park, UT.

Last stop on the roadtrip before getting back to Phoenix… Sedona, AZ. Andreea and Brandon enjoy the red rock scenery and beautiful architecture. No vortices were harmed in the capturing of this image.

Now back in Phoenix, Andreea and Brandon visit the Museum of Illusions… Isn’t he cute?!

Brandon helps Andreea decorate her Christmas tree. This was Brandon’s very first time decorating a tree!

Brandon and Andreea go to Palm Desert to see a musical… Les Misérables. Andreea has been a long time fan of musical theatre. It seems Brandon is willing to get on the musical theatre bandwagon.

Brandon comes to visit Andreea around Christmas, and brings COVID with him… but the couple don’t let that bring them down. They participate in all the fun Christmas traditions Andreea had planned, including meticulously decorating a gingerbread house.

Brandon and Andreea are honored to attend Ceci and Sivasa’s wedding in Mountain View, CA. They are so grateful that Ceci will be officiating their wedding in December!

Brandon has a short vacation in CA around Andreea’s birthday. They do all her favorite things, including an escape room and axe throwing. This was Brandon’s first time throwing… and look at that bullseye right from the start!

Brandon takes Andreea on a glass blowing date for her birthday. He is really speaking to her creative soul.

Not long after, they go on a pottery making date. Brandon is really starting to let his creativity shine too!

Brandon and Andreea attend FoodieLand Phoenix. It was Brandon’s first time at a food festival. The couple’s favorite treat: Hawaiian Honey Cones!

Brandon and Andreea take Tucker to see snow for the first time. He was not the biggest fan…

Brandon takes Andreea to his hometown, where she gets to see where he grew up, where he went to school, and meet some of his friends and family, and of course… you can’t visit Minnesota without seeing the Mall of America!

Of course, when Andreea learned there would be a giant greenhouse for them to visit… it was added to the itinerary.

Brandon plans a scavenger hunt for Andreea… the first stop: Deaux. Their favorite donut shop, but there’s a mysterious finding in the box.

The scavenger hunt continues with an “escape room in a box”.

Of course, part of the scavenger hunt includes returning to the location where Brandon and Andreea had their first official date, the Lavender Festival in Cherry Valley. Andreea thought for sure he was going to propose there. She spent hours getting ready, picking an outfit, and fixing her hair… alas, there was no lavender scented proposal.

Instead, Brandon waited until they got back home from the lavender festival. Andreea had changed back into her pajamas for the night, and her hair was up in its usual ponytail. Soon after, as they settle in to watch her favorite show… He proposes! He proposed! And of course she said yes!

Brandon and Andreea celebrate their first holiday as an engaged couple. Fourth of July, with food, family, and of course… FIREWORKS! Fun fact: Fourth of July is Andreea’s favorite holiday!
