Justin is always laughing about the many adventures we seem to find ourselves on and swears we need to make a shirt. He has learned to always be prepared when we get together, it can be a simple dinner that turns into fixing someone's car or a simple question of, "hey, do you think we can help out this sweet couple?" That turns into completely landscaping their whole back yard over the next 4 weeks. First and foremost we know beyond a shadow of a doubt that God orchestrated this union and for that we give Him all the glory. When we stopped to look at "Our Story" there are a few characters that played a key role. Taking you back to 2012, I am outside playing with the kids when a familiar car stops in front of the house. "Hey there, I see you at home with your kiddos and I will be returning back to work soon and am looking for a babysitter...oh and by the way, do you have a home church?" That simple question let to an invite to Lenexa Christian Center which has been my home church ever since. Taking you back to 2008 Justin moved from Lake of the Ozarks to Overland Park where he started attending his family's church Lenexa Christian Center. Our paths crossed up and down the hallways of our church and we served each other's kids from the girls being the 2s class together to City Kids. Then one day another simple question...."Have you considered Justin?" changed the trajectory of our lives. We bring you now to 2021 were we started exchanging more than a hi, or hello and officially started dating. After a few short months we really felt called to take a break, focus on God, our individual relationship with Him, and build our foundation of friendship. In the next 2 and a 1/2 years we matured in our walk with Christ, got more involved in our church and making a difference with the youth and our community, we became best friends who discovered what it really means to be able to count on someone and to know someone really has your back. With the foundation of friendship laid, God brought us back together and on July 19th Justin proposed and we are about to embark on the next, most thrilling adventure yet, Husband and Wife!!!!!
