In 2013, Andy graduated from Lexington Catholic and Kaylin from the Christian Academy of Louisville. Both of them decided to attend college at the University of Kentucky in Lexington. It was there at UK during their freshman years that their paths crossed for the first time.

Fast-forward five years to the summer of 2018 in downtown Lexington outside of Belle’s, their paths crossed again. Kaylin had just moved back to Lexington to begin her career as a registered nurse at UK children’s hospital. She had been living back in Louisville for the past year, after graduating from UK, getting her nursing degree from Bellarmine University. Andy on the other hand had been working at Tempur Sealy. They ran into each other in passing and decided they should get together sometime soon and catch up for old time’s sake.

That next week, Andy asked Kaylin out on their first date. From there, their relationship began and they have been by each other’s side, in love ever since. The decision to get married here in Lexington was an easy one to make because it holds a special place in Andy and Kaylin’s hearts. Go cats!
