Where should I stay?

Hotel recommendations are available on the Travel page with options near Central Park/Upper West Side, as well as Union Square. Airbnbs may also be available.

How do I get there?

Dear Irving Gramercy is located at 55 Irving Place between E 17th and E 18th Streets, just northeast of Union Square. Take the L, N, Q, R, W, 4, 5, or 6 subway lines to 14 St-Union Square. Taxis and ride share services are also widely available.

What time should I arrive?

The celebration runs from 7pm-12am. There are no formalities so please arrive at your leisure and enjoy the evening.

Is there a ceremony?

Andrew and Kevin are getting married in an earlier private ceremony. The evening is their celebration with friends and family.

What should I wear?

Dress to enjoy a fun evening out in the city with some festive flair and personality. Formal dresses, suits and ties are not necessary.

Will food be served?

There will be passed hors d'oeuvres and small bites served, but you may want to eat before you arrive.

Can you accommodate food allergies/restrictions?

We are working with the chef to provide vegetarian, dairy free, nut free, and gluten free options. Please make the servers are aware of any food allergies or restrictions upon arrival.

Is there an open bar?

Absolutely. Dear Irving Gramercy is known for expertly crafted cocktails. Beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options will also be available.

May I bring kids?

Dear Irving Gramercy is a 21+ venue. Children are welcome to join for the picnic on Sunday.

What should I bring to the Sunday picnic?

BYOB – bring your own brunch. We highly recommend Zabar’s (80th & Broadway), Broad Nosh Bagels (86th & Broadway), and Bagel Talk (78th & Amsterdam). Cold bubbly or rosé, discretely, is always welcome. There are benches but additional chairs or blankets would be appreciated.
