How we met...
From Naomi's Perspective:
I was a Junior in high school, and dating was not exactly at the forefront of my mind. However, one night, we had a youth night at a trampoline park, and here comes Andrew Freeman. We hadn't talked much before, but all of a sudden, he is following me around the trampoline park, asking to hang out with me! Before I knew it, we were texting constantly, and he was still asking to hang out. I wanted to take it slow and told him we needed to get to know each other more, but the more we chatted, the more I was falling for him.
In late October that year, Andrew had an annual appointment to check up on the brain surgeries he had had a year or two previously. We were still stuck in the texting phase, but I was realizing just how much I was fretting over whether his appointment would go well or not. It was then that I finally admitted to myself, "Wow! I really like him and care about him...a lot!" He always showed so much care for others and was the most selfless person I had met. So, in early November, I decided to call him and tell him I do like him and want to date, and here we are! I've always said it was the epitome of sweeping me off my feet!
From Andrew's Perspective:
I was a senior in high school. Dating was at the forefront of my mind, and I was ready to start looking for who my future wife might be. Then along comes this Naomi girl. She's always smiling and making everyone's day brighter. That's when I really noticed her. At a church camp, a group chat was made with peers. Oh man, how easy. Already got her number. Started texting her, without much response. Then, a night at Sky Zone with the youth group. I figured that's when I'd make the jump and really try to get her attention. She promised she'd do a backflip. I made that my goal. No backfips or follow-up texts from that night. Then, three months later, I received a call.
...And the Rest is History!
