The message that turned into the love most people dream of getting in this lifetime.

We have known each other for years. From Drew growing up playing soccer with my brother, to our parents knowing each other from back in the day. It almost seemed to good to be true when Drew decided to take the first leap to strike up a chat with me. Our first chat was short and sweet we talked about roller skating then didnt speak until Christmas time a few months later.

We spent some time over the next few days catching up and talking about life. At that point he asked me if he could come see Pumbaa, my Pig. I then agreed not knowing where it was going to go or if he actually wanted to see Pumbaa but knowing more then likely he wanted to see me.

He then came over to meet Pumbaa and hang out with me. From this day on, we spent the next few days texting constantly and hanging out everyday. We both knew this was going to be something super special when we both wanted all the same things from life.

Over time our love began to blossom and Drew decide it was time to make things official. After a few sort weeks of talking he asked me to be his girlfriend on January 15th 2023. From there a relationship most people dream of was what I was getting , I really had found my real life Prince Charming.

For a year and a half , we laughed, smiled, traveled and just enjoyed life knowing we had found our person. I have never felt more sure of someone than I have since being with him.

The Summer of 2024 I was going on a family trip back home to Sao Miguel Azores Portugal where my grandparents were born and raised to enjoy some quality time and hang out with my family. Little did I know drew and my family had a master plan in the works.

After spending about 24 hour in Portugal we had a few things planned to do that day one of which was preparing for the towns festa ( celebration of the saints) where I was instructed that we had to go pick up flowers to decorate the streets. Although this was not a normal thing I had not been to Portugal in a few years and thought nothing of it.

My dad , uncle and cousin then proceeded to bring me to Senora Da Praz a church just on the outside of the town. While taking pictures and not paying much attention to my surroundings I was told to turn around walk towards the church...

There he was standing in front of the church , I was in complete shock but starting to clue into what was going on. I walked towards him and after shedding many tears of joy to see him and realizing what was happening, he then got down on his knee in one of the most special places to me and asked me to be his Wife !!! I have never said YES so happily in my life! On June 30th 2024 I was upgraded to his fiancé!!

The last two years have been nothing but perfection , I can't wait to spend forever together.
