We begin our story the week before Christmas 2021, where two gingers would find themselves on the Bumble dating app looking for love. Unbeknownst to them, they would swipe on each other, changing their lives forever.

Days of late night chats, joking and story telling eventually led to their first date, which would not be ordinary to say the least. Starting with breakfast at Snooze in Downtown Gilbert, they decided to take a leap and go on their first adventure. Their course was set for the Phoenix Zoo, and besides taking a slightly unplanned detour through the Airport, they walked and talked and grew fonder of each other. As the day grew on and the zoo came to a close, neither wanted the date to end. Ice cream and shopping ensued, along with spending the rest of the day by each other’s sides. Little did they know, this was just the beginning of their journey!

Days and nights, led to weeks and months of dates, laughter, and the discovering of a love that neither had known existed. In March of 2022, this King and Queen rolled the dice and went all in for their first trip to the gambling capital of the world, Las Vegas! From the sounds of The Bellagio fountains to shenanigans in the Luxor elevator, they shared a fun filled trip and quesadilla with Andrew’s brother and sister-in-law!

Andrew and Jocelyn’s next adventure would be deep in the heart of Texas, in July of 2022! Facing the humidity, they both traveled from Dallas to the piney woods of East Texas, Houston, and finally ending in the fun filled San Antonio! Their days were filled with food, baseball, shopping, history and trips down memory lane! Sadly their trip came to an end, but not before enjoying an amazing day at Sea World and celebrating the 4th of July!

July 2022 would soon come to a close, but not before a trip and time away from the Phoenix heat, to the beautiful Flagstaff, AZ, and home of Northern Arizona University, Jocelyn’s alma mater!

September of 2022 loomed closer, and so did Jocelyn’s birthday! These two soulless soulmates packed for the most magical trip of all, and headed to Disneyland for a week of celebration and fun! With rides, food, and a longing for Cars Land, they both shared an amazing time they would never forget!

A romantic getaway to the breath taking Sedona came shortly after, where they experienced all four seasons in a matter of 2 days! Winding roads and gorgeous views quickly led to a snow filled town which left lasting memories for years to come!

Though they both saw stars when they looked into each other’s eyes, their next adventure took them to a star filled town! They took on the City of Los Angeles and Universal Studios Hollywood! From Super Nintendo World to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, they discovered new rides and unlocked new core memories that they would never forget!

Our story now takes a turn to a day that would change their lives forever. On May 6th, 2023, Jocelyn would accompany Andrew to a fake work event he had set up in the very confusing layout of the Phoenix Arboretum. With the help of a friend and other co-workers, Andrew created flyers and planned a photo shoot filled day and walk in the arboretum. With a “mandatory employee check-in” and obligatory picture for the company’s sustainability newsletter, Jocelyn posed for what she thought was just a normal picture. But soon after Andrew got down on one knee and asked her to spend the rest of her life with him!

A short time after, the newly engaged couple stuck with tradition and went on another adventure, this time to the beautiful beaches of San Diego! Baseball and relaxing by the ocean filled their days as they looked to the future and the wedding of their dreams!

Funko Pops, pins, and inside jokes that could fill a book are just a few things this couple shares in a long list of memories they have made thus far, but will never stop creating! Though they both dedicate their love for each other to their passion for Billy Zane and his collection of charismatic characters and inspirational lifestyle - Andrew and Jocelyn look forward to joining their family and friends for a weekend that will launch their next chapter in life!
