What does Semi-Formal attire mean?
As the wedding is outdoors in Virginia in August, we understand that it will be warm and are trying to accommodate as best as we can. However, we would love for y'all to show out in your best attire! What do invites addressed to "The _____s" entail?

As much as we'd love to have everyone we know at the wedding, we need to consider the space available and also want to keep the celebration limited to adults! With this in mind, unless the invitation you receive explicitly mentions your family, please just bring yourself (or whoever else is on your invite)! We can't wait to spend time with you, and for the parents, we're happy we can provide a date night/weekend for the two of you!

How do I let you know about my dietary requirements?

We should have an option on the RSVP to add any comments/concerns about dietary restrictions, so please be sure to reach out to us if that is not the case. We have various friends with restrictions, so we've already discussed options with our caterer to take care of all of you!

Where should I stay while I'm in town?

In addition to the room block we have reserved at the IHG hotel (featured on our "Travel" page) for the weekend of the wedding, there are countless hotels within the city of Charlottesville as well as AirBnBs in and around the area.

What is there to do in the area?

If you're looking for something to do, take a walk around the grounds of UVA before the students move in or plan a short hike in Shenandoah National Park, which is less than an hour from our venue!

Central Virginia is also home to more than 80 wineries in addition to a multitude of cideries, breweries, and distilleries. We've provided links to a few of our favorites in our "Things to Do" page of the website, so go check that out if you're interested!
