Emily and I met in our freshman year of college through the Alpha Engineers Learning Community at Minnesota State University - Manakto. We quickly became friends/church buddies at the Newman Center. Emily studied Electrical Engineering while I studied Computer Engineering. With our similar majors we had a lot of overlapping classes making it easy for us to study together. We frequently made meals together to get away from studying.

We started dating our senior year of college and got engaged in 2023 in Key West Florida!

One thing about us has been our love for adventures outdoors. From hiking in Mankato to a weekend in Duluth to go camping next to Lake Superior. We love to go hiking and spend time going camping. Since being together, Emily and I have traveled to Las Vegas, the Everglades, and Key West!
