This picture was actually taken way later than the date noted, I just added first for context. Andrew and I had both started working at Target around the same time, but we never really interacted. From the beginning I could tell Andrew was dedicated to his work and had a professional demeanor, I admired that from a distance... (I thought he was so handsome and way too cool for me). So I kept to myself but I would purposely take the routes I knew he would be at just to share a smile. A couple of months later, my sister began to work at Starbucks in store. I would ask her to mention me and find out more about him LOL. I remember texting her throughout the day asking her if Andrew was at work and where he was at... mind you Andrew had no clue who I was but I was crushing HARD! Andrew had began saying 'good morning' to me often, and I was looking forward to those every time! I guess he had taken an extra day off because I knew his schedule and he wasn't at work. So I ask his friend, Anthony where he was... and that's where it all changed. Anthony and Andrew began plotting, as my sister and I did the same. I left my number on a sticky note for Andrew, and that's how we started talking!! -Melanie :D

Our first date was at a Dallas Stars game! It was also our first time really talking outside of work! This day is very special to me because I distinctly remember how nervous I was the entire night. I had the biggest crush on him and I just didn't want him to think I was weird... I did end up giving him a little smooch on the cheek!! In my defense, I really wanted him to know I was interested LOL - Melanie

This was probably our third date. It had been a while since we had all visited Six Flags, so we went! It was so much fun and I love spending time with them!!-Melanie

After a couple more dates, Andrew had asked to have a picnic with me! He made some yummy sandwiches and brought a bunch of other goodies, he went off LOL. This was actually the day he asked me to be his girlfriend! I said YES!

State Fair!! One of my favorite events all year and I couldn't wait to take her. I let her know early on that this would be a tradition of ours. - Andrew // I think by this point we both knew we were foodies, so trying out State Fair food with him quickly became something I knew I could never let go. - Melanie

Christmas, Christmas, Christmas time is here, at the Dallas Zoo! Cold weather, lights, hot cocoa and lots of love in the air during our favorite time of the year.- Andrew // This was our first Christmas season spent together. I could not imagine one without him... New Years in San Antonio :)). Who knew our wedding date would be exactly one year later? - Andrew // I had so much fun here, we went to Six Flags and got to explore San Antonio together! I can't wait for more road trips like these :P - Melanie

Colorado trip :) - Andrew // This was my very first time in CO. I had so much and I am so grateful that Andrew's family included me on this trip, it was truly amazing!

Breakfast with pookie. Oh, also the day I proposed.- Andrew // I had no idea this was going to be the day he proposed... we had breakfast and went on a walk at Arbor Hills, which is always a favorite!!
