EDGEWOOD RESORT & GOLF COURSE

Edgewood is Tahoe's only lakefront golf resort, home to our wedding, as well as the American Century Celebrity Championship. For a sneak peak at our wedding venue, look for the park just behind the famous par-3 17th green. In addition to its world class lodge resort and golf course, guests can wine and dine at its three "on campus" restaurants - Edgewood Bistro, Edgewood Restaurant, and our personal favorite - Brook's Bar & Deck.

HEAVENLY VILLAGE

Located at the base of the Heavenly Mountain Ski Resort, the Village has it all - over 40 shops and restaurants, a vibrant live music scene, and a 2.5 mile gondola ride to the top of the ski mountain - offering panoramic views of gorgeous Lake Tahoe from 10,000 feet above sea level.

EMERALD BAY

Lake Tahoe’s crown jewel – an oasis of shimmering greens, turquoise and blues spanning 1,533 acres against a strikingly beautiful mountain backdrop. Just a short drive from South Lake Tahoe, Emerald Bay spans 1,533 acres and is home to the only island on the lake, Fannette Island, and Vikingsholm Castle. Bring shoes as you will definitely want to do the short hike to the waterfront.

ZEPHYR COVE BEACH

Great for water sports or relaxing on the beach, Zephyr Cove is the best of both worlds. The beauty of a pristine mountain lake setting combined with the thrill of new adventures.

SAND HARBOR BEACH

With crystal clear waters, long sandy beaches, rocky coves, shady forested areas and panoramic lake views, Sand Harbor is a great spot to post up and relax. But get there early, because the lot fills up quickly!

EAST SHORE TRAIL

Dubbed by Annie Menard as “America’s Most Beautiful Bikeway”, the Tahoe East Shore Trail is not only a spectacular way to ride along North America’s largest alpine lake, but it also provides direct access to public beaches, coves and trails along the picturesque Nevada shoreline.

Rubicon Trail

The Rubicon Trail in South Lake Tahoe connects two of the most stunning state parks in all of California, D.L. Bliss and Emerald Bay. A beautiful out-and-back trail with views of Lake Tahoe and Emerald Bay the whole way, on the easy side of moderate.

VAN SICKLE BI-STATE PARK

As the only park in the country with an entrance that straddles a state line, the site is close enough to the bright lights of the famous South Tahoe casinos that tourists can walk to the park from the resorts.
