Here are some places that Andrew and Sara recommend! These "Things to do" are located throughout Colorado Springs which is the town they recommend staying in if you are traveling for the wedding. If you are travelling from out of town remember to stay hydrated and be mindful of the elevation change!
Andrew and Sara grew up right next to Garden of the Gods! This park is free and includes simple trails and a scenic drive with views of the magnificent rocks and Pikes Peak.
Scheels is a great place to explore and walk around! Most famous for its Ferris wheel and aquarium, you can also enjoy the candy store, cafe, home goods, sporting gear, outdoor gear, and more. Andrew and Sara have gone here to pass time and shop for new outdoor gear!
Another attraction Andrew and Sara highly recommend is the zoo! They have gone to the Electric Safari every winter they have been together to see the Christmas lights. Located on Cheyenne Mountain it is the highest zoo in the country as an elevation of 6,714 feet.
Top Golf is a fun experience for the whole family! Show off your golf skills while enjoying food and drinks in the part-indoor, part-outdoor golfing range.
Located near Downtown Colorado Springs, the Olympic Training Museum is great for all ages! Explore the interactive activities and see the Olympic memorabilia, sports exhibits, and more.
Palmer Lake is a part of the Tri-Lake Area near the wedding venue. Enjoy activities at the lake such as fishing, hiking, and disc golf or check out some restaurants in town. Andrew and Sara highly recommend the Rock House Ice Cream shop for some great ice cream!
If you want to explore near downtown Colorado Springs check out Old Colorado City! Enjoy many places to dine and shop for some Colorado souvenirs. Andrew and Sara recommend Pizzaria Rustica and the Colorado City Creamery.
