Jordan is my baby sister, and she is fierce and loyal to a fault. My favorite memories of her are of all the times she grits her teeth and acted in the plays that I put together while we were growing up. Despite the fact that she could not stand my flair for the (over) dramatic, she was always there for me. She might have complained the entire time through these ordeals, but at the end of the day, she always stood up next to me. Anytime I need a shoulder to lean on, she is right there, and I would not want anyone else besides her as one of my maids of honor.
Jeremy Kucharz - Best Man
Jeremy is an incredibly loyal, caring, and dependable friend, and I am incredibly lucky to have him serve as my Best Man. I have known Jeremy since 4th grade, where we instantly bonded over constant arguments about the Astros vs. the Rangers, and a legendary run as the greatest pitcher & catcher duo that the Sienna Plantation Youth Baseball League has ever seen. As we grew older, I always knew that no matter the circumstances, Jeremy was a friend that I could count on to be there for me. Through long trips between Lubbock and College Station, our friendship has remained strong, and I can't think of anyone better to stand next to me on my wedding day.
Devon Rountree - Maid of Honor
Devon is the baby of the Rountree family, but she is also the heart and soul. No one makes us smile and laugh the way Devon does. In the early days of high school I was having a particular hard time at school with friends and struggling to understand my place in the world. However, every day, without fail, this little cutie would come home before her soccer practice and brighten my day. She would come in to my room with the biggest smile on her face, ask me how my day was, and give me a big hug. She is blessed with the gift of knowing how to give people what they need most, and I am so thankful for it. To have Devon with me on the happiest day of my life, when she was there for me in every other day of my life, even the bad, brings tears to my eyes.
Ryan Morrison - Groomsman
Ryan and I have known each other since the day he was born (Because he's my brother). While we have always been brothers, it took us a little longer to become friends. Since that moment, I am tremendously thankful to have Ryan in my life. Ryan is an extremely driven, committed person, but he also has a very caring side that those around him are lucky enough to experience. I have a special place in my heart for all of the experiences we have shared as brothers, along with his frequent Texas A&M football updates sent no earlier than midnight. I have been forever grateful to have Ryan as a brother, and now I get to be forever thankful to have him as a groomsman.
Hanna Cernohorska - Bridesmaid
Hanna and I met when I lived in Australia, but our friendship has continued to grow stronger and stronger, even after I left. Through constant texts and calls discussing drama both domestic and abroad, we never felt like we were continents apart. Hanna has been a constant light and joy in my life. My favorite memory of Hanna and I together was when she surprised me right after high school graduation by coming to visit me in the US. We took her to Galveston of all places, and she looked at me like a crazy person when I told her this was our beach. Throughout that week we talked and laughed like no time has passed, and this is how it always feels with her. Hanna is as dependable as it gets, and is a forever friend.
Matthew Morrison - Groomsman
Much like Ryan, I have known Matthew for all of my life (Given that he is also my brother). Growing up alongside Matthew as has he has transformed from an energetic, charismatic, loving kid to an energetic, charismatic, loving, and less buck-toothed adult has been a genuine joy in my life. I am thankful for all of our memories we have shared together, including countless fishing trips, and I now get the joy of looking forward to forming the memory of him being one of my groomsmen. https://www.youtube.com/c/MPMFishing
Meredith Streeter - Bridesmaid
Thanks to a childhood fight between our younger sisters over "Snap and Style Dolls", Meredith and I were able to become great friends. From sleepovers after long swim practices, to the countless swim meets, we were always together. One of the greatest summers of my life was the COVID summer where Meredith and I endured it through through tanning in the pool and driving to Galveston to eat Popeyes while we watched a wedding (Long story). Meredith has always been the sweetest, most loving person, and has always been the friend that puts up with my crazy schemes. I am so grateful to have her with me on my wedding day.
Josh Funderburk - Groomsman
When I'm not spending my free time writing introductions about Josh, I am usually trying everything in my power to catch up to him on Strava challenges. Beyond being a fantastic running partner and motivator, Josh is one of the funniest and most selfless people that I know, and he has never met a situation that he could not make more fun and less stressful. As I get to reflect on all of the times that Josh's presence has pushed me to better myself, I also get to relish in the excitement of knowing that I will be able to count on him being at my side on my wedding day.
Haley Jones - Bridesmaid
Of all of the ways to meet a lifelong friend, Haley and I met because our moms set us up on a blind date at Chick-Fil-A. The entire reason for this random friend date was because we had both just moved back from living aboard. We were awkward little 14 year olds, but we spent the whole day together and watched a beautiful friendship bloom. Haley is the most giving person that I know, and when she cares for someone, she showers them in gifts. This always makes me feel like a totally inadequate gift giver because she always know the way to get directly to someone's heart. My absolute favorite memory of Haley is the 48 hours that we spent in her movie room binge watching Star Wars, crushing out on Hayden Christensen, and giggling like little girls. I am so excited that I get to go through this part of my life with her, while she also plans her own wedding!
Jackson Curtis - Groomsman
Serving as my token Midwest friend since middle school, Jackson and I first formed our friendship as an electric QB/TE duo in PE. As we went on to college and got to experience the thrills and hardships of sweating out exams and football games as both friends and roommates, I am so thankful to have Jackson in my life. Jackson is one of the funniest and most passionate people that I have ever met, but he is also one of the most kindhearted people that I will ever meet. I am so thankful to have known Jackson and lived with him through some of the most formative years of my life, and I am also immensely thankful to have him as one of my groomsmen.
Ian and I have known each other since high school, but we really hit it off as friends and eventual roommates in college. Ian is one of the most dependable and patient people that I know, and he was often a much-needed source of level-headedness in our college household. I have many great memories of Ian, ranging from our weekly tradition of starting our linear algebra homework no later than midnight to watching football and turning around to see him perfecting front flips into a living room beanbag. Through thick and thin, I can always count on Ian to be an insightful and trustworthy friend, and I am so excited to have him as one of my groomsmen.
Allison Stephens - Bridesmaid
The story of my friendship with Allison began with Cody texting me for advice before their first date (Meaning I knew about her before all of his roommates). Once I finally got to meet Allison, we became good friends, until we really hit it off during the big South Texas freeze of 2021. For that entire week in College Station, Allison and I acted like we were lifelong friends and always made time to hang out together when I was back in town visiting Andrew. Allison is a true joy and a light to be around, and she has the incredible ability to make someone feel like they are always at home when they are around her. I have so much love for the way she brought me in as a friend so quickly, and I am so excited to have her with me on my wedding.
Cody Knight - Groomsman
An incredible friend and a contrarian until the end of time, Cody is someone that I have always admired and am incredibly lucky to have as a friend. As a man of may passions and a legitimate commitment to them all, Cody never failed to liven up any of the days that we lived together in college. I have tremendous respect for a number of things about Cody, including the way that he roots himself in his beliefs and also the way that he makes the little onion train when he cooks stir fry. I am so thankful to not only be able to call Cody Knight a friend, but also a groomsman that will be there for me on the biggest day of my life.
Vix Hernandez - Bridesmaid
While I wish that I had met Vix earlier at Trinity, I am thankful to have found such a gem of a friend. Vix is the type of person to tell you exactly what you need to hear, even if you don't want to hear it, which is why I appreciate her so much. She is also everyone's biggest cheerleader, and I swear she screamed louder than me when I got my first official job offer. One moment that I think perfectly encapsulates Vix is from this past year when we went back to San Antonio together to support Nikki in a play. After the play was over, we spent the entire weekend taking a perfect break from the stresses of life, holed up together in her parent's condo, catching up on each other's busy lives, and scheming about when we wanted to be proposed to. When Vix and I are together, I feel like she slows the world down and takes my stresses away, and I am so thankful to have her with me on what is hopefully a stress free wedding day.
Mason Camille - Groomsman
Soft spoken, yet always 100% worth listening to, Mason will always have one of the most distinctive personalities of anyone that I know, and I am incredibly fortunate to be able to call him a friend. Mason is naturally kind, adventurous, and unwaveringly loyal, and he is someone I can always count on to be down for anything. From hour long games of don't drop the tennis ball as middle school office workers, to pushups in the middle of Northgate, I have a lifetime of memories with Mason that I treasure. I am incredibly appreciative of the presence that Mason has had in my life and the unwavering loyalty that he has brought as a friend. Given all of the joy that Mason has brought into my life as a friend, I am so excited to have him as a groomsman.
Andrew Meador - Groomsman
The story of Andrew Meador and I begins in elementary school, where due to the fact that we were inseparable, no one was ever able to call us by our first names. Andrew is a one of a kind, truehearted friend, and there is no one else that I would have rather had barge in through my garage door at random times to hang out. I have so much appreciation for the way that Andrew knows how to bring people together and how he brings the most fun into the most inconsequential things. I am truly grateful to have Andrew as not only an incredible friend but also a groomsman.
Jill McGhee - Bridesmaid
Thanks to a little help from my coworker and eventual friend, Brian Quinn, I was lucky enough to meet Jill while we were both living in Corpus Christi. Our relationship was off to the races with the first dark humor joke, and our friendship eventually blossomed into one that I cherish deeply. Jill has a way of empowering the women around her and challenging her friends to be the best versions of themselves. Jill's advice comes without judgement or envy, and her love for people and her willingness to let you know when you're in the wrong only makes me respect her even more than I already do. I deeply miss our 5:00 am sunrise beach conversations that we shared in Corpus, watching the sun come while just talking about life. To Jill, Thank you for standing next to me on our special day, but most importantly of all, thank you for showing me the good word of Sarah J Maas.
Becca Billman - Officiant
Becca is the definition of a sunshine person and it is incredibly fitting that she hails from the literal "Sunshine State". Becca is a regular fixture at our dinner table and routinely fills our home with not only conversations of fun adventures, but also deep moments of spirituality. We have so much respect for the way that Becca grounds herself in her morals, and how her relationship to God inspires those around her to grow in their faith. As Andrew and I both come from different faith backgrounds, it seemed only natural that we make our individual commitments to marriage in our faith of choice, and then trust Becca with bringing us together for our vows in front of our friends and family. We are so thankful to have Becca as someone who not only knows our story, but also knows our faiths and is willing to help us communicate our faith in love to one another before family, friends, and God.
