We'll be in beautiful Minnewashta Regional Park at the Lakeview picnic shelter, #5. Once you've made it to the park, use this map to find our picnic area and park. There are two areas to park in!

Judy's guide for MN visitors! From Judy:We are so happy&nbsp;that you will be joining&nbsp;us in Minnesota for Mara and Andrew's Wedding Celebration&nbsp;Party! Some of you are former Minnesotans, so you probably already have your to-do list ready. If you haven't been here before, we have a couple of recommendations for things to do when you aren't hanging out with us. • Mall of America&nbsp;As our number 1 tourist destination, I am contractually obligated&nbsp;to mention this. And if you haven't been, it IS pretty impressive. If you like shopping. (1- 8 hours) • Walk around a lake.&nbsp;Yeah, sounds dumb, but it's a thing. I suggest one of our city lakes— my favorite is&nbsp;Lake Harriet. Beautiful bandstand and ice cream available. We'll loan you a dog to walk, if you want the full experience. (about a 45 minute walk, plus the ice cream) • MN State FairI should have started here, but I think it was already mentioned in the invitation. It's worth mentioning twice!! Best State Fair anywhere! Andrew has decreed Friday as State Fair day, but go any time you like. Call Judy for way more than you want to know in the way of details.(I would not recommend trying to fit this in on Thursday before the party, unless you have serious stamina and an expandable stomach =) • Dine at the Lake&nbsp;Nothing better than sitting out on a dock watching the boat culture. When we say "The Lake" (there are over 100 just in the city limits, over 11,000 in the state), in the Twin Cities we mean Lake Minnetonka. It's our closest big lake. Two options come to mind—Maynards&nbsp;in Excelsior (quite the hot spot on a beautiful day or&nbsp;night!!)&nbsp;685 Excelsior Blvd, Excelsior, MN 55331andLost Bay, 35 Lakeview Ave, Tonka Bay, MN 55331 (lovely, not quite as much wild action as Maynards, more peaceful) • An Adventure in DiningOwami by The Sioux Chef,&nbsp;420 S 1st St, Minneapolis, MN 55401 (Downtown)I can almost guarantee there will be food here that you haven't eaten before. Look it up to read about this award-winning restaurant, and start trying to get a reservation right NOW! Lunch is a bit easier to score.
