Hannah was born in Kingston, PA on April 16, 2000 to Brian and Cathy Judge. She graduated from Holy Redeemer High School in 2018 and took a gap year before attending Penn State in 2019 to major in animal science.

Andrew was born in Lancaster, PA on October 28, 2000 to Keith and Megan Roland. He graduated from Conestoga Valley High School in 2019 before attending Penn State the same fall where he would wind up majoring in accounting.

Though starting school at the same time, we did not meet until the fall of 2022 at Eucharistic Adoration/Board Game night at the Suzanne Paterno Faith Center (though Hannah asserts we met at that year's Newman Catholic Student Association St. Patrick's Day Party. I don't remember that). After two weeks of working up enough courage, I finally asked Hannah out to a date at the Berkey Creamery, and, wonderfully, the rest is history.

While it was easy maintaining a relationship at Penn State where we were so close together, it was harder when I began an internship in Philadelphia in January of 2023 while Hannah was still at school. But we kept in touch through both text and phone call, as well as writing letters to one another. Thankfully, I was also able to make it up to campus every couple of weekends in order to see her.

After just over a year of dating, I proposed to Hannah on September 29, 2023 at Eucharistic Adoration in the Meditation Chapel on campus. Hannah happily agreed, though wedding planning had to take a backburner as we both needed to finish school, graduating that December.

We cannot understate how important our faith is in our relationship. Christ was at the very center of our meeting and we intend to keep Him as the central pillar of our family, being guided by and living out His Word in the ups and downs which life will throw at us.

As St. Paul writes, "Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves." (Romans 12:10)
