It all began more than 60 years ago when Andrew’s Grandma Etta and Anna’s Great Aunt Jerri became fast friends at work. The two quickly went from co-workers to chosen family, together celebrating life’s ups and downs. This friendship between Etta and Jerri unknowingly led Anna and Andrew’s paths to cross multiple times over the years. Talk about an invisible string, right?

Fast forward to November 2021 at Anna's brother's wedding, where Jerri decided to give matchmaking a go. Jerri cornered Anna and insisted, “You have to meet this cute boy.” After a quick glance at Andrew’s picture and confirming he was up to Anna’s height standards, she gave Jerri the green light to share her number. Jerri worked her matchmaking magic again the next day, this time cornering Andrew at a family get-together showing him Anna’s Facebook photo. That was all it took—Andrew texted Anna the following day.

A week later, they had their first date at a dog park with their pups, Freya and Lucy, and the rest is history. After two years full of adventures, laughter, and love, Andrew “fell for Anna’s trickery” and asked her to marry him on November 17th, 2023.

We’re thrilled to begin this next chapter of our lives and can’t wait to celebrate with our amazing family and friends!
