We met when we were in college at the University of Arizona. We met in August of 2010, Tracie’s Freshman Year, through our college marching band’s honorary fraternity. We were able to spend a lot of time together throughout our time in the Pride of Arizona marching band and got to know each other as friends.

We started dating in October of 2011. We dated for two years until Andrew graduated college in 2013 and moved back home to Santa Cruz, CA. When he moved, we pivoted to a long distance relationship. Once Tracie graduated in 2014, she moved back home to Las Vegas. We continued to build our relationship by traveling to see each other as much as possible. We got to experience many sporting events and walks on the beach together during this period. We also had weekly marathon video calls where we would talk for hours and catch up on everything.

We were in a long distance relationship until July of 2020 when Tracie moved to Santa Cruz. Once Tracie got to Santa Cruz, we were able to spend a lot of quality time together since most of the world was still shut down and just starting to open back up.

We got engaged on February 25, 2023 during a trip back to Tucson. Andrew managed to pull off the trip without suspicion because he asked if Tracie wanted to go to the University of Arizona vs. ASU basketball game and Tracie immediately said “absolutely!” Andrew knew how much Tracie loves mascots, so he managed to make the proposal even more special by getting Wilbur and Wilma to be a part of it.

We would not be here without the love and support we have received from our families and friends. We cannot wait to celebrate with you!
