Andrew and Ali first met officially when Ali was a junior, 16, and Andrew was a senior, 17. Ali first starting talking to Andrew at a basketball game through friends and then Andrew started messaging Ali on Snapchat. Even though Ali was five feet away, Andrew still decided to ask Ali on their first date over Snapchat.

A few hours later Ali was nervously waiting on her first date at the kitchen table when a Jeep pulled into the driveway. Ali went to the Jeep and Andrew told her to go back and grab her coat because we will be going somewhere cold. Later on Andrew would find out that Ali despises cold weather! We ended up walking out on the frozen lake at Fremont State Lakes.

Andrew then went off to college the next year while Ali finished high school. Then, Ali went to Wayne State where she was only a 30 minute drive from Andrew. Andrew then finished college and then we were back to long distance for the next couple of years. We then moved to Omaha and got our Goldendoodle Sam.

Andrew proposed to Ali at a photoshoot that their friend Sav helped Andrew plan. Andrew was playing cool and even said we might have to cancel for him to go into work. Ten minutes into the photoshoot Andrew got down on one knee and the rest was history.

We feel so blessed that God has put special people in our lives that have supported and loved us from the beginning. We can't wait to celebrate with you!
